Parrot, parrot, tell me something on the ear ... Another week of Passepartout is behind us! This time we went to an unusual place for a close meeting with parrots in the Warsaw parrot shop aptly named "Bird's Brain" 🙂 We had the opportunity to directly interact with 30 species of tamed tropical birds. Each workshop participant could see parrots and other birds up close, touch and stroke them, and learn about the varied diet of each species. The guides revealed to us a lot of secrets related to the everyday life of these heavenly, colorful birds. An additional attraction was the preparation of skewers of fresh fruit and vegetables and feeding them to the parrots. The visit to the parrots' house showed us that parrots are not only social, but most of all very curious birds. The pieces of our wardrobe turned out to be great toys for them - strings in the hoods, zip fasteners, buttons, laces, and even our hair 🙂 Parrots easily flew up to us and stayed on our hands, arms, head and even back :) It was unforgettable an experience for all of us!
