A teacher by calling.
Probably some of you know the Lady Marta Bednarczyk - an English-speaking teacher in Orange Ciuchcia in Mokotów - for those who were not so lucky, we would like to say that Marta is a person full of warmth, empathy, understanding - always smiling!
Marta is now experiencing the adventure of her life, because she went to Masindi in Uganda for two months, where she teaches children from an orphanage - Window of Life.
It is an Ugandan-Polish institution operating for over 10 years, which takes care of the most needy children - providing them with education.
Marta conducts English classes there for younger and older children - they read books together, play games, and learn vocabulary, counting and the names of colors.
What is worth adding, children interact with the elements of Montesoria on a daily basis because in fact, they help in organizing each activity, getting to know the world through experience, and this is what we like the most!
Additionally, Ms. Marta, together with two other volunteers and Roger, the teacher who works there on a daily basis, renovated the classroom where children can do their homework and study.
