On Thursday, April 18, preschoolers from the Orange Ciuchcia and students from the Gaudeamus Primary School visited the Association of Little Brothers of the Poor.
Preschoolers presented joyful, spring dances referring to the style of old folk games typical of the Easter period. Students invited seniors to jointly create holiday decorations. The initial shyness was quickly replaced by an intergenerational agreement. The meeting was accompanied by talks and laughter - but also mutual help and attention to other people, opportunities, and limitations resulting from the age of seniors and children. Preschoolers and students listened to the stories of what learning at school used to be like with enthusiasm and disbelief, and seniors were surprised to hear what it looks like today. In the end, it was agreed that the children would invite the beneficiaries of the Association to visit them for the next meeting. Souvenir photos, hugs, giving each other small gifts made by hand are our task to start a beautiful and long-term relationship 🙂
