Heat .. Hot .. Caution, heat!

This year's heat wave has come with force and the temperatures are getting higher every day. Young children are especially exposed to the harmful effects of the sun because their bodies are not yet able to cope with the effects of overheating. How can you help your toddler survive the heat? Here are some helpful tips.

Irrigation is one of the most important activities that we should remember. Water with a low mineral content is the best choice for summer heat. It should not be very cold so as not to expose the baby to a throat infection. It is also worth thinking about cooling the toddler with water, for example in a spray. The best thing to do, however, is a refreshing bath that will make your baby feel better immediately.

Be sure to take appropriate clothes for your little one. They don't have to be short shorts and a strapless blouse. The main thing is to provide breathable clothing and natural fabrics. To avoid sun exposure, it's a good idea to find cotton or linen clothes to cover your shoulders and back. You cannot forget about the cream with a high filter, which will protect the child from harmful UV radiation and burns. If you are a supporter of natural cosmetics, look for raspberry seed oil that will perfectly protect your toddler's skin.

Try to make as much time as possible be in the shade with a child, especially between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm when the sun is at its most intense. When playing in the sandbox or walking in a stroller, consider having an umbrella. Be sure to also take a thin cap or a hat with you to cover your toddler's head.

During summer hot weather, it is also obligatory to protect the child's eyes, which are very sensitive. When buying goggles, remember that they must be equipped with appropriate filters that will protect your eyes from harmful radiation.

You can also test all of the above tips on yourself - thanks to this, it will be easier for you and your baby to endure high temperatures. Reasonable spending of holidays is a great pleasure. Properly dosed sun has a positive effect on the body, including releasing vitamin D3 and endorphins - both for small and large amateurs of summer weather 🙂
