Painting workshops are an extraordinary journey into the world of art, where children can freely experiment, express emotions and develop their creativity. This school year we are running them as a pilot every Wednesday in our kindergarten Pomarańczowa Ciuchcia in Bielany (in groups of 5 and 6-year-olds).
These classes not only teach painting techniques, but above all support the harmonious development of young participants on many levels:
- They develop imagination and creativity – free creation allows them to discover their own style, experiment with colours and shapes and learn to think creatively.
- They practice manual skills and hand-eye coordination – painting and drawing support the development of fine motor skills, which translates into more efficient hand movements, which are extremely important, for example, when learning to write.
- They teach patience and concentration – working on a painting requires concentration, accuracy and perseverance, which helps children develop the ability to pursue a goal.
- They help you express your emotions in a safe way – art allows children to communicate what is sometimes difficult to express in words, helps to tame difficult emotions and build self-esteem.
- They develop social skills – working in a group teaches cooperation, sharing ideas and inspiring each other.
Workshops are led by Paulina Leszczyńska, an artist with a pedagogical education and many years of experience working with children. Thanks to the warm atmosphere and individual approach, each child feels appreciated during classes and motivated to creative action.
These are activities that are not only fun, but also support emotional, cognitive and social development - all in a joyful atmosphere full of colour and imagination!
